Some things we came up with whilst film-watcherating...

Collage Love!

Oh sweet photocopier, how I love thee. These creations mark the beginning of my explorations into preferred Vs experienced nostalgia. They use imagery from Jean-Luc Godard's films, particularly Made in U.S.A (1966), adding in details from my own childhood, specifically television programs. How many can you spot? :P

Some more photographs to add to James and friends, these things seem to all congregate on my windowsill... This set will be used as studies for a series of watercolour on board paintings - still working on the scale.

Welcome to James Bond and the Museum of Things Stuck to Other Things. Photographic studies for paintings May '10, very much reminds me of the 'Wild Chorus' exhibition a short while ago at Helen Gory Gallery by the lovely Melbourne artist Tai Snaith. Highly recommend checking her work out.
