Film Works

So here is a first ever attempt at putting together a film. Technical difficulties aside, using film allows me to directly explore visual sequences and the associations made when presented with images in this way.
Be gentle though, it's all very new.

Something New

Why hello again, this marks the beginning of 3rd year and thus a more in-depth look at my practice and its content. To begin with I am focusing in on object interaction as I attempt to create methods for disruption and provide unexplained narratives in my work. Film sequences and editing techniques are of particular interest. These works were created using cartridge paper over book spreads.

Tea Anyone?

Here is a set of illustrations based on photographs from Frankie magazine's Afternoon Tea cookbook. Om. Nom. Nom.

Beaker

Muppets anyone? I found this toy at an op-shop on Elgin St. The paintings explore classification, itemisation and some more personal nostalgia - part of the research for my latest body of work.

Vrrrrrrrroooooooooom, etc.

Hey! What's that? You're tired and bored of your pin-board? Wish it had something to offer? Feels like your daily noticeboard is letting the team that is your collection of junk down?
Why not try an awesome-groovy-cool wall racer such as this? Hours of fun. Weeks even.
